Progress on tackling nuisance street racing Prisma business park Bleiswijk

Municipalities Lansingerland and Zoetermeer have sent a letter to residents of Prisma business park Bleiswijk. This letter is about the measures taken and further plans to combat nuisance from street racing. You can find the letter at the bottom of this page.

The municipalities sent the letter because the planned meeting on Nov. 20 was cancelled due to a limited number of registrations. They drafted the letter to still provide residents with the necessary information about the measures taken and further plans.

Traffic thresholds

Meanwhile, the Lansingerland municipality has installed 23 speed bumps on the Prismapark business park and Cyclamenweg. These traffic calming measures are intended to reduce the speed of traffic and discourage street racing. Both before and after the installation of these speed bumps, no reports of nuisance have been received by the municipalities to date. The municipalities and police continue to monitor the situation and take action, if necessary.
