Authenticating copy or transcript
The municipality may issue certified copies of certain documents. For example, of your passport or driver's license. By authenticating, the official certifies that the copy looks exactly like the original.
You may need a certified copy or certified transcript for:
- formal transactions, such as buying a house
- cases where you do not want to hand over the original document, for example, in the case of a copy of an identity document
Diplomas and/or certificates
Copies of diplomas and certificates are not authenticated by the municipality. For this, please contact the educational institution where you obtained the diploma or certificate. Documents with a church affiliation are also not authenticated by the municipality.

Change or cancel appointment?
Once you have made an appointment you will receive a confirmation email. This e-mail also contains a link that allows you to change or cancel your appointment yourself.
Do you no longer have the e-mail? Then call 14 079. A staff member can change or cancel the appointment for you.

You pay the fee at the authentication. At the counter, you can only pay by debit or credit card.
