What is loneliness?
Many young people feel lonely at times. You feel less or not connected to others. This may be because you have less contact with others than you would like, feel that others do not care about you or miss someone with whom you can share your feelings and thoughts.
Not one kind of loneliness
There are many causes that can make you feel lonely. Perhaps you find it difficult to make new contacts and therefore have few friends. Even if you have many friends and are very social, you can still feel lonely. Or if, for example, you have just moved to a new place and don't know many people yet. That too can make you feel lonely.
Young people who feel lonely often feel that there is no one with whom they can talk well and with whom they can really be themselves. Still, it is important to talk about it and take the first step yourself.
Talk about it
