De Leyens shopping center more accessible, greener and safer
The parking lot of shopping center De Leyens in Zoetermeer is now even more accessible and green! To ensure accessibility for everyone, new guide lines have been installed on the sidewalks.
The guide lines and redesigned parking bays provide more comfort and safety for users. The parking spaces have also been given beautiful colors. Beautiful stickers remind users to keep them free of obstacles. The first trees have already been planted and more will follow soon.
In addition to these modifications, the parking spaces have been rearranged according to the latest standards. This provides more comfort and safety for all users.
Alderman van der Meer emphasizes the importance of the modifications for improving accessibility: "We think it is important to improve accessibility sustainably throughout the city. We do that together with the users. The adaptations at De Leyens are a great example of that."
Municipality of Zoetermeer remains committed to further improvements in accessibility and sustainability throughout the city.
