Zoetermeer signs covenant sports and exercise hotline

A sports and exercise counter is a place where sports providers can go with questions. From here coordinated coordination takes place and sports providers receive the best possible support. The Sports Counter of the municipality of Zoetermeer was already one of the forerunners on the road to a local sports and physical activity counter for sports clubs and with the signing of the covenant the offer of the Sports Counter is strengthened. The covenant is also signed by NOC*NSF, Rabobank and the sports associations.

Zoetermeer Sports Desk

The associations in Zoetermeer know how to find the sports desk with questions about volunteer recruitment and retention, membership recruitment and retention, administrative issues, subsidies and finances. With the signing of the covenant, the Zoetermeer sports desk joins the national coordination of sports and physical activity desks of NOC*NSF.

Alderman Weerwag (sports): "The current working method of the sports desk will be retained for associations, nothing will change at the front end. With the signing of this covenant we improve the service: we will cooperate even better with other parties, expand the knowledge of the sports desk and be 1 of the first to benefit from national developments."

Collaboration

By increasing cooperation between the parties, the covenant contributes to more effective and efficient club support. There is more knowledge sharing between parties, leading to a direct referral to the best form of support. From this greater knowledge benefits the sports desk and thus also the sports providers.

Signature

Alderman Weerwag is expected to sign the covenant on behalf of the college in the fall along with NOC*NSF, Rabobank and several sports associations.
