Zoetermeer Innovation Award 2024: vote for most innovative entrepreneur
The battle for the Zoetermeer 2024 Innovation Award is in full swing! In recent months, companies from Zoetermeer could be registered for a chance to win this prize. The most important condition: the companies are actively engaged in innovation and renewal within their industry. On Tuesday, October 1, the 22 nominees were announced. All residents and established businesses from Zoetermeer can vote from that moment on. The winner of this year's Innovation Award will be announced on Monday, November 18, during the Network Zoetermeer Entrepreneurial Conference.
Municipality of Zoetermeer created the Innovation Award to put innovative companies in Zoetermeer on the map. This is why an Innovation Expedition was started from the summer: through a podcast series and blogs, innovative entrepreneurs share practical tips, knowledge and experiences with their fellow entrepreneurs. With the icing on the cake: the presentation of the Innovation Award.
How do you cast a vote?
Via the website www.zoetermeerisdeplek.nl/innovationprijs everyone can cast a vote for the most innovative entrepreneur. This can be done until October 17. The nominees are active in various sectors, and consist of both large and small companies. An expert and independent jury, chaired by alderman Jan Iedema, will judge the innovations submitted on the basis of originality and impact. The jury consists of experts in the field of innovation and business management.
Based on the evaluation of the jury and the public votes, the 3 finalists will be announced live on November 18. The 3 finalists will present themselves during this day, after which the winner will be chosen. The eventual number one will receive a media cheque worth 5,000 euros, a company video, one year membership of Netwerk Zoetermeer and the Dutch Innovation Community. The other 2 finalists will also be offered a professional corporate video.
Zoetermeer is the place!
The city is home to numerous innovative companies that contribute to innovation and economic growth of the region. This makes for a lot of cooperation and being able to learn from each other. The municipality has created the Innovation Award as a token of appreciation to the companies that are already working so hard on innovation, but also to inspire other companies to get started with innovation. This is done in collaboration with Netwerk Zoetermeer, Economic Board Zoetermeer and Dutch Innovation Community.
