Zoetermeer volunteers in the spotlight!
December 7 is National Volunteer Day. On this day volunteers are put in the spotlight. This year we were able to surprise as many as 10,285 Zoetermeer volunteers with a special gift: a relaxation moment at Kiki at Franx and Kunstgarage Franx.
Annual volunteer appreciation
Every year, around National Volunteer Day, volunteer organizations can request a gift for their volunteers through Zoetermeer voor Elkaar. A great opportunity for organizations to show their appreciation. Alderman Frinking handed out a number of presents.
Alderman Frinking: "We think it is important that every volunteer is seen and appreciated. With this appreciation we want to put them in the limelight, because they make Zoetermeer a little more beautiful every day."
