The asphalt on Zegwaartseweg is being replaced
Municipality of Zoetermeer work on Zegwaartseweg this spring. The asphalt between Hugo de Grootlaan and the border with Benthuizen is worn out and will be replaced. The road will therefore be closed for several weeks, and traffic will be rerouted via the N209.
Work Schedule
The work will take place in two phases: from April 28 through May 13, 2026, and from June 22 through June 26, 2026.
Immediate neighbors will receive a letter from the contractor one week before work begins, containing the exact schedule and contact information. The work will be carried out in phases to minimize disruption to neighbors and road users as much as possible. Work will only take place during the day.
Detours
Through traffic is being diverted via the N209. Only local traffic is allowed limited access. Alternative routes for cyclists are available and are marked with signs. Bus line 165 is operating on a modified route. Therefore, public transit passengers are advised to plan their trip in advance using 9292. Please allow for extra travel time due to the detours.
