Business investment zone contributions
Business Investment Zone contributions (BIZ contributions) are for owners and users of non-residential properties in designated business investment zones Dorpsstraat. A non-residential property is, for example, a store or office. The BIZ contributions are set for the years 2022 through 2026.

The municipality receives payments of BIZ contributions through tax assessments.
The revenue BIZ contribution owners gives the municipality as a subsidy to the Association Dorpsstraat Vastgoed BIZ. To the BIZ Ondernemingsvereniging Dorpsstraat Zoetermeer, the municipality gives the proceeds BIZ contribution users as a subsidy. Agreements have been made with each BIZ association on the spending of the subsidy in an implementation agreement.
