Pay taxes
There are several ways to pay. If you pay on time, you will avoid extra costs. The assessment notice states when you have to pay the tax assessment.
Pay in one go
- Pay via iDEAL. You can do this with the QR code on your assessment notice. There is no QR code? Then you probably already use direct debit. Under 'Payment method direct debit' you can see the approximate dates on which we will debit the amount from your account.
- Transfer the entire amount to the municipality of Zoetermeer to account number NL18BNGH0285047140, stating your assessment number.
- Are you paying from a foreign account number? Then use our BIC code BNGHNL2G.
Pay in installments
Would you prefer to pay in installments? Then issue a direct debit authorization. Then we can debit the amount of your tax assessment from your account in parts. We divide the total amount of the assessment into 12 equal monthly payments. We will debit the amount around the 27th of each month.
Please note! Not all tax assessments can be collected by direct debit.

Make an appointment to pay taxes at City Hall
You can also pay at the counter in the Town Hall Forum. You must make an appointment for this. . At the City Hall you can only pay by debit card or with the exact change.
Change or delete appointment
Once you have made an appointment you will receive a confirmation e-mail. This e-mail also contains a link that allows you to change or delete your appointment.
Are you changing your appointment? Don't forget to delete the other appointment!
If you no longer have the email, please call 14 079. An employee can change or delete the appointment for you.
Requesting payment arrangements
Are you unable to pay the tax in one lump sum or by direct debit? If so, please request a payment plan. We may be able to make other arrangements for you to pay the total amount in installments.
You can arrange this in different ways:
Online
This only applies to tax assessments for which no writ of execution has yet been issued. A request for a payment plan of up to 5 monthly installments will be automatically granted. A request for a payment plan of 6 or more monthly installments will be manually assessed by us to determine whether we can agree to it.
As a resident you log in with your DigiD. As a company, you log in with E-recognition.

Your proposal must include:
- your name and address
- your phone number
- your email address
- for which assessment(s) you wish to make arrangements (assessment number)
- your proposal for payment
We will let you know what we think of your proposal as soon as possible.
Please note! Has the collection already been handed over by us to our bailiff Cannock? Then you must make arrangements with the bailiff about payment. How to contact them can be seen on the Cannock website.
