Bijdorplaan - Soeterdael
On the edge of the center and located near the old Village, a vacant lot has been lying for some time. This site is located on Bijdorplaan and Willem de Zwijgerlaan, near Van Leeuwenhoeklaan. In early 2022, the municipality of Zoetermeer signed an agreement with property developer Synchroon on the sale of the land.
Synchroon will build 88 apartments on this site in three residential buildings, both owner-occupied and rented. The project has been named Soeterdael, just like the nearby residential building already completed by Synchroon. The buildings will be located in a park-like setting. Public greenery connects the buildings and forms a pleasant spot on the edge of the city center.
On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, Synchroon and the municipality of Zoetermeer organized an information evening for local residents. The plan was explained during this meeting. In the documents you will find the atmospheric report of this meeting.
