"Staying Safe Online" Workshop at De Leyens for People Aged 55 and Older

Online scammers are getting smarter all the time. They call pretending to be from the bank, send convincing emails, or even show up at your door. Older people are frequently targeted. That’s why the city of Zoetermeer, in collaboration with the police, is organizing a series of free informational sessions in local neighborhoods.

The event will take place at De Leyens on Thursday, May 21. You’ll learn how to recognize the signs of cybercrime and find out what to do if you’re unsure. We’ll discuss real-life examples and provide tips on how to protect yourself online. And, of course, there will be plenty of time to ask questions.

Date: Thursday, May 21,
Location: inZet, Gondelkade 33,
Time: 1:30–3:30 p.m. (doors open at 1:30 p.m.)
