Coming home to Zoetermeer. Noticeably better.
The 2026–2030 coalition term will be characterized by broad cooperation aimed at investing in the city’s strengths. Key priorities from the agreement include:
- We're going to make the city greener;
- We are committed to a strong social safety net: we won’t let anyone fall through the cracks, we focus on prevention, and we explore ways to ensure that work pays;
- We invest in visible improvements to public spaces;
- We are expanding the capacity of (youth prevention) special enforcement officers;
- We are giving a strong boost to housing construction;
- We advocate for the interests of young people;
- We invest in gathering places, both indoors and outdoors;
- We take a neighborhood-focused approach because every neighborhood is different.
When residents step out their front doors, they should see it right away: Zoetermeer is getting noticeably better every day.
