Covenants

A covenant is a type of agreement or contract. In a covenant, the municipality records agreements on cooperation with other parties. The purpose is to jointly realize policy or carry out a government task.

Public disclosure of documents in the Covenants category is not yet mandatory. Covenants discussed at council meetings are already public. You can find these covenants and documents with information about them, using the search function on the Zoetermeer City Council website.

The date when disclosure becomes mandatory will be announced at a later date through a Royal Decree. From then on, all new covenants must be made public.
