The city will clear the branches for you

You’ve spruced up your garden so you can fully enjoy the nice weather this spring. Now you’re left with branches that you can’t put in the organic waste bin. No problem—we’ll be running the branch collection route for you on Thursday, April 23, and Friday, April 24. We’ll pick up the branches from your home and turn them into compost.

Need to have branches picked up?

Please make an appointment so that your address can be included in the branch collection route. To do so, visit www.zoetermeer.nl/takkenroute. There you will find more information about the day the branch collection route passes through your neighborhood. Would you prefer to register by phone? You can do so by calling 14 079, option 2, to reach the Waste Collection Department’s customer service.

Your branches must not be longer than 1.5 meters and must be tied together. The bundle of branches must not weigh more than 30 kilograms. Other garden waste, such as leaves and tree stumps, will not be collected.

Fall

You can count on the branch route again this fall. Keep an eye on the website mentioned above for the latest information.
