Join in and help name Zoetermeer’s new city card!

Starting in 2027, Zoetermeer will introduce a new pass packed with benefits! With this city pass, you can enjoy discounted (and sometimes even free) access to activities, outings, cultural events, local initiatives, and much more in Zoetermeer and the surrounding region.

The City Pass will soon be available to everyone: residents and visitors alike. This will make it easier to discover all that Zoetermeer and the surrounding area have to offer—from local initiatives to well-known attractions right in your own backyard.

All we need now is... a name!
And who better to come up with one than the people who live here?! That’s why we’re asking for your help.

What does the jury look for?

Here are a few tips to get you started.

  • Creativity: Does the name stand out and stick in your mind?
  • Connection to Zoetermeer: Does the name really suit our city?
  • Accessibility: Does the name feel friendly and inviting to everyone?
  • Future-proof: Will the name still work in a few years?

And also:

  • The name is not yet in use in other cities or for other discount cards.
  • The jury may also choose a variation or further development of a submitted name.

What can you win?

The entry that leads to the final name is the winner. If more than 5 entries suggest the same winning name, we will select 5 winners at random. The winner will receive a free discount card for the entire household as soon as the new card is launched.
