Party in the school garden on Zegwaartseweg

The Zoetermeer school gardens are celebrating their 50th anniversary, and we’re celebrating too! On Saturday, June 21, from 11:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., you’re warmly invited to the school garden at Zegwaartseweg 25b for a fun-filled afternoon for all ages.

Discover and join in

There’s plenty to do. You can take part in workshops, such as making your own tea bag or a earwig hotel. The workshops are offered several times a day, so you can join in at any time.

There are also ongoing activities. Discover insects and plants using identification cards, make apple spirals with a spiral cutter, explore the “Guess What I’m Feeling” boxes, or sow cress seeds to take home. You can also make your own popcorn.

There’s a lively market with about 15 stalls, music, and a scavenger hunt with a small prize. And there’s an award ceremony for the best coloring page.

Everyone is welcome. Come on in, soak up the atmosphere, and join us in celebrating this green anniversary!
