On Wednesday, July 1, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., we’ll take you on a short, surprising walk through the park. Along the way, you’ll hear fun facts and gain new insights into the nature right around the corner: from trees and plants to animals and even litter.
What to expect.
- Why grass is sometimes left uncut on purpose
- Identifying unusual plants
- Information about tree management in your neighborhood
- Fun activities like the tile flipper and the leaf blower obstacle course

- Location: Westerpark, near the Vrienden Nature Garden in Zoetermeer (near Turfpad)

The Neighborhood Safari is an initiative of the City of Zoetermeer and the neighborhood contractors Bunnik, Van der Spek, Vermeulen, and Vebego Groen.
