Join us on a Neighborhood Safari in Westerpark

On Wednesday, July 1, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., we’ll take you on a short, surprising walk through the park. Along the way, you’ll hear fun facts and gain new insights into the nature right around the corner: from trees and plants to animals and even litter.

What to expect.

• Why grass is sometimes left uncut on purpose
• Identifying unusual plants
• Information about tree management in your neighborhood
• Fun activities like the tile flipper and the leaf blower obstacle course

• Location: Westerpark, near the Vrienden Nature Garden in Zoetermeer (near Turfpad)
• Start: 12:45 p.m.

The Neighborhood Safari is an initiative of the City of Zoetermeer and the neighborhood contractors Bunnik, Van der Spek, Vermeulen, and Vebego Groen.
