Municipality halts process for municipal monuments Post-45 and conducts evaluation
The board of mayor and aldermen decided to immediately halt the process of preselecting municipal monuments from the period after 1945 (Post-45). The reason for this is the unclear and confusing communication to property owners. The council regrets this and apologizes for it.
Process completely halted
Due to the concerns and uncertainty this has caused among owners, the council has decided that no further steps will be taken within the Post-45 process at this time. The discussions and preparations that were part of the exploratory phase will be terminated. The property owners will be informed of this by letter.
Evaluation and follow-up via the municipal council
First, the municipality will conduct an evaluation of the process. The results of this evaluation will be discussed with the municipal council. Only then will a decision be made on whether, and how, the process will be continued in the future. Property owners will be informed again as soon as this has been clarified.
