Samen Buytenwegh: A Lively Afternoon in the Neighborhood
On July 15, Kentgensplein will be transformed into a lively hub of activities and socializing. Children can play and do crafts, while you get to know local organizations at the information fair. Library: Story Picnic in the Neighborhood
This summer, the Library is organizing a special storytelling picnic at Buytenwegh. On July 21, you can listen to a storyteller in the small square near the Palestrinarode while enjoying a picnic together. Brawl Stars Training Event in Buytenwegh
Is your child a big fan of Brawl Stars? On Monday, August 3, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Buurtwerk group is hosting a free Brawl Stars training event at Busken Huethove 8. Children and teens ages 8 and up can improve their skills, learn new tactics, play together, and prepare for the Brawl Stars tournament being held during fall break. This summer, you can drop by inZet—including the location on Teldersrode—for activities and support. There are opportunities to meet others, participate in activities, or ask questions. De Knuss: a place to drop by
At De Knuss, you’ll find a place where you’re always welcome to stop by for a chat or a cup of coffee. In Buytenwegh’s “living room,” it’s all about attention, connection, and a sense of belonging. Neighborhood associations and resident initiatives
In Buytenwegh, residents themselves are also actively organizing activities, including through De Hoveniers and Buytenrode. These are places where ideas take shape and neighbors meet. The neighborhood forum De Achtertuin will be on summer break starting July 17 and will resume on September 2 with coffee and children’s activities.
Senior Citizens' Bus: New Route and Consultation Hours in the Neighborhood
Starting July 8, the Senior Bus will also run along Muzieklaan in Buytenwegh. This will make it even easier to use this transportation service in the neighborhood. In addition, there is a walk-in consultation hour every other Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Gondelkade. Find out where and when you can use the Senior Bus in Buytenwegh
Kinder Karavaan: Outdoor Theater
In the last week of August, the Kinder Karavaan is coming to Buytenwegh with a free outdoor children’s show. On August 27, you can enjoy a performance full of humor, music, and imagination on the grassy area along Sibeliusrode.
