New Activities on Bus 63: Working Together to Foster Connections in Buytenwegh
Starting in August, Buytenwegh will have a new community space. At Bus 63, the DOVO Foundation, Vidomes, and gro-up are joining forces to bring together residents of all ages. With a diverse range of activities, this space will focus on social interaction, talent development, and community building.
Residents will soon be able to participate in a wide range of activities, such as music and brass band workshops, creative workshops, girls’ afternoons, educational activities, and group cooking sessions. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet new people, develop skills, and get actively involved in the neighborhood. The organizers want to make Bus 63 an accessible place where everyone is welcome and where residents can inspire and support one another.
Grand Opening on July 31
To celebrate the launch of these activities, the DOVO Foundation, Vidomes , and gro-up are hosting a festive opening on Friday, July 31, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bus 63, across from Blauwe Plein.
During this afternoon event, local residents can learn about the organizations, the range of activities on offer, and the plans for the coming period. There will be performances, music, snacks, and drinks, as well as various activities for all ages. You can also find out more about the indoor activities that will begin after the summer.
For and by the neighborhood
The partnership between the DOVO Foundation, Vidomes, and gro-up aims to strengthen the neighborhood. The focus is not only on offering activities, but also on creating a place where residents can meet, share ideas, and work together to build a pleasant living environment.
