Now available for review: Draft Strategic Road Safety Plan for Zoetermeer
Zoetermeer aims to be a city where everyone can get around safely—whether you’re walking, biking, or driving. Road safety affects everyone and is essential to creating a pleasant and livable city. That is why the municipality has developed the Zoetermeer Strategic Road Safety Plan. This plan outlines how the municipality will work over the coming years to create safer roads, improve traffic behavior, and ensure appropriate enforcement. Special attention is given to vulnerable road users, such as children, the elderly, and cyclists.
Review the plan and share your thoughts
The draft Zoetermeer Road Safety Strategic Plan will be available for public review from April 9 through May 28, 2026. During this period, you can review the plan and provide feedback. You can find the plan at: doemee.zoetermeer.nl/Strategischplanverkeersveiligheid. There, you can also find instructions on how to submit your feedback. Your input will help us further improve the plan.
