Investigations

On this page you will soon find publicly available documents from the Investigations category. These are investigation reports that

• deal with whether municipal organization works well.
• deal with the preparation or review of policies. This includes reports on implementation, compliance and enforcement.
• do not involve special cases.

The Woo only requires disclosure of investigation reports (within 4 weeks of receipt). Other documents associated with an investigation are not disclosed. Internal audits and legal opinions also do not have to be made public.

Disclosure of documents in the Investigations category is not yet mandatory. However, this is already being prepared. The date when disclosure of investigation reports becomes mandatory will be announced at a later date through a Royal Decree. From then on, new investigation reports must be made public.
