On behalf of the municipality, photographer Richard Jetten made a report in the emergency shelter before people were taken in.
Where is the entrance to the emergency shelter?
The entrance has remained in the same place. Only a few COA staff members come to work by car, which is why there is no great traffic. The residents of the emergency shelter generally do not have a car.
Has the prison been remodeled?
The prison has been made suitable for housing people. For this purpose, minor renovations were done, such as placing partitions around the toilets in the rooms. COA furniture was also placed (beds, cabinets) and the location was decorated, such as by hanging curtains.
