Together in Rokkeveen: Meet, Discover, Connect, and Shop!
On Saturday, September 12, the Rokkeveen Shopping Center, in collaboration with the Rokkeveen Neighborhood Team, is organizing a fun day of togetherness.
During “Samen Rokkeveen,” residents can easily get to know the organizations, initiatives, and activities taking place in the neighborhood. At the information fair, you can talk with community organizations and other stakeholders from Rokkeveen. This way, you can discover what’s happening in the neighborhood, where to go for support or advice, and which opportunities align with your interests or needs.
A large number of clubs from Zoetermeer will be showcasing their organizations to shoppers throughout the day. A day for young and old alike! From 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the outdoor and indoor plazas will feature a varied program with performances showcasing dance, singing, sports, and other leisure activities. It’s a great opportunity to explore a new sport or leisure activity as the new season begins.
The participating clubs will set up booths where you can stop by for more information. There will also be various demonstrations that you can watch or actively participate in, such as badminton, bridge, dance, singing, rock climbing, and much more.
Several choirs will put on a spectacular performance in the central plaza of the shopping center, and there will be surprising dance performances outside.
Samen Rokkeveen is also a great opportunity to meet neighbors, make new connections, and learn what’s going on in the neighborhood. By bringing residents and organizations together, we work collaboratively to build a engaged and connected Rokkeveen.
