SEBO seal of approval, applications

Zoetermeer appreciates companies that distinguish themselves in the field of corporate social responsibility. That is why the SEBO hallmark was created, the hallmark for Socially Economically Involved Enterprise.

What you need to know

All local businesses (including sole proprietors) can apply for the free SEBO seal of approval.

Eligible companies are those that add value to Zoetermeer and make this visible by including:

  • Commitment to preserving and promoting employment opportunities for vulnerable groups.
  • Effectively and demonstrably supervising staff.
  • Supporting causes related to Zoetermeer.
  • Actively improve the business climate, proactive attitude and share successes.
  • Seek cooperation with other parties, for example, the municipality or education.

Your company can apply for SEBO certification if you meet the following conditions:

  • Your company has a careful personnel policy.
  • Your company undertakes employment enhancement activities.
  • Your company undertakes activities to improve cooperation with education.
  • Your company is committed to social and community causes in Zoetermeer.

SEBO seal of approval, applications

How long will it take?

  • We first submit your application to members who hold the SEBO seal of approval. This is done during the SEBO meetings (an average of 3 per year).
  • Upon member approval, a kick-off meeting with a current SEBO member and the SEBO project leader will follow.
  • After a positive interview, prospective membership for 1 year follows. 
  • An audit takes place one year after the application.
