Street art brings together young and old at the Hof van Seghwaert

Painting together, connecting together—that was the essence of a special activity at Hof van Seghwaert. In collaboration with the Niet Alleen Foundation, 15 participants of various ages worked on a colorful street art mural on a shipping container at Hof van Seghwaert. The result is not only a striking work of art, but also a lasting symbol of encounter, collaboration, and connection in the neighborhood.

The goal of this activity was to bring young people and adults together and strengthen the bond between generations. By working together on a single piece of art, meaningful conversations arose naturally, participants got to know each other better, and mutual understanding grew. The colorful painting is thus not only an eye-catcher but also a lasting symbol of how creativity brings people together and connects them.

The project was made possible and funded by Fonds 1818 and APPM. Thanks to their support, 15 people were able to work together to achieve a lasting and visible result for the Hof van Seghwaert.
