Grant - Youth Culture Impulse
During and after corona, young people had to miss many cultural activities. The State wants to ensure that young people participate in cultural activities more often again. The municipality has received money for this purpose. With this money we want to support projects and places that help young people develop creatively.
In 2023 and 2024, the municipality provides subsidies to cultural projects for, by and with young people. €502,400 is available for this purpose.
Do you also want to organize something for young people? Like making a cool place, organizing a youth festival or doing something with subcultures or urban arts? Then apply for this grant.
Terms
You can apply for a grant if you meet the following conditions:
- The applicant is registered with the Chamber of Commerce.
- The applicant is a cultural organization or someone offering cultural activities to residents of Zoetermeer.
- The application aims to get young people between the ages of 14 and 27 to experience culture.
- The application aims to establish places or projects in Zoetermeer for young people to develop creatively.
The municipality pays a maximum of 80% of the total cost of the project, up to an amount of €25,000. For an application by 3 or more parties together, the amount is a maximum of €50,000.

You can apply for the grant throughout the year. We review applications in order of receipt.
Applying for a Youth Culture Impulse grant
Enclose with your application:
- A project plan explaining why you are eligible for a grant. What activities do you plan to organize and what is its purpose?
- A balanced and feasible budget. In it you state how much the activities will cost and what they will generate.
- An excerpt from the Chamber of Commerce.
