Invitation to the Homeowners' Association Open House | Take Control of Your Energy Usage

Do you ever wonder how you can reduce your energy consumption? Or are you curious about the options available to you and your homeowners’ association to keep housing costs affordable in the coming years, despite rising gas prices?

Then please stop by our free open house. The municipality is organizing a homeowners’ association open house in your neighborhood specifically for this purpose. You are most welcome to attend:

  • Date: Thursday, July 23, 2026, 3:00–5:00 p.m.
  • Address: De Kapelaan, Nicolaasplein 2, Zoetermeer

Free, with no obligation, and no appointment needed

The afternoon event in your neighborhood is free, and you can drop by anytime with any questions you may have—no appointment needed.

With this series,“The HOA Help Desk Comes to Your Neighborhood,” we’re not only supporting HOA board members—residents are also welcome to stop by with questions about HOAs, double-pane windows, solar panels, or how to keep your energy bills affordable. In addition, your homeowners’ association may be able to take advantage of Zoetermeer’s new insulation subsidy, which, when combined with existing subsidies, makes it more affordable to improve your home’s sustainability. This way, you can enjoy greater comfort and lower (energy) costs.

In addition to information about joint homeowners’ association initiatives, an energy coach from the Piëzo Foundation will also be on hand to provide specific energy-saving tips or an energy consultation.

Would you prefer a different time?

If you are unable to attend one of the afternoon sessions but have questions about homeowners’ association matters, our homeowners’ association advisors—Alexander van de Beek, Hans-Jurgen Kramer, and Fred Ninaber—will be happy to assist you at another time. Please make an appointment by sending an email to vveloket@zoetermeer.nl. Or find more information on our HOA help desk at energieloketzoetermeer.nl/vve-loket.

We look forward to seeing you! If there is a high volume of visitors, we will limit each visit to a maximum of 20 minutes.
