Staying Safe Online During Cybersecurity Month
October is European Cybersecurity Month. The municipality of Zoetermeer is also devoting extra attention to digital security this month. We’re doing this through various activities for residents and businesses. Online crime is becoming increasingly common and can affect anyone. That’s why the municipality believes it’s important for residents to know how to protect themselves online.
On October 14, the city, the police, and the Platform for Safe Business in the Hague Region will be handing out flyers in the Stadshart. Visitors can ask questions and receive practical tips on how to recognize online scams and fraud.
City Dialogue on Digital Safety
On October 28, the municipality, in collaboration with the Interfaith Council of Zoetermeer (ILOZ), is organizing a dialogue evening on digital safety. Residents will engage in conversation with one another and with experts about online risks, experiences, and solutions. You can register via “Digital Safety & Online Crime Dialogue Evening | ILOZ” at .
