Explorer recommends a coalition of GL-PvdA, VVD, D66, and CDA

On Wednesday, April 22, Mr. Aleid Wolfsen submitted his final report and recommendations regarding the next steps in the coalition-building process to the Zoetermeer City Council. He had been asked by the GroenLinks-Partij van de Arbeid coalition to serve as an explorer and investigate the possibilities for a coalition agreement.

Following discussions with all parties in the city council, Wolfsen recommends that GroenLinks-Partij van de Arbeid, VVD, D66, and CDA form a coalition agreement together. Wolfsen: "As an explorer, I am sincerely convinced that these parties have a sufficient foundation and the goodwill to get to work with determination."

The city council will meet this Thursday to discuss the next steps in the coalition-building process. The coalition negotiator will be present to explain his recommendations.
