Removal of Boat Wrecks in De Leyens

The Enforcement Team will be removing the boat wrecks in the De Leyens neighborhood. These boats, which are often half-submerged and overgrown with vegetation, are an eyesore on the water. Enforcement Team staff will affix a red label to the boat wrecks. Are you the owner of one of these boat wrecks? If so, you have until September 27 to remove it. After that, the Enforcement Team will remove the boat wreck. You will then no longer be able to claim ownership of the wreck or any personal belongings that may be inside it.

Neglected Boats Restored

This year, it wasn't just boat wrecks that were tagged. Neglected boats were already tagged with yellow labels last month. The owners of these boats were given one month to repair them. Of the 9 boats with yellow labels, 5 have been repaired, and 4 will still receive red labels.
