Fourth meeting of citizens' council on waste policy

June 1 marked the fourth and second-to-last meeting of the citizens' council. In small groups, the citizens' council worked on recommendations for waste policy. They worked hard! About 30 draft opinions were made on the topics: Ease of Use, Cost and Affordability, Sustainability, Separating Waste and a Clean City. Watch the video below!

At the end of June is the last meeting of the citizens' council. In the morning, participants continue writing the opinions and in the afternoon all opinions are voted on. An opinion is adopted only when at least two-thirds (67%) of the citizens' council agree. At the end of the afternoon, all adopted opinions are compiled and presented during a festive moment to the college of mayor and aldermen.
