Werk.nl and Werkplein
Werk.nl is the national website of the UWV where you can find job vacancies and all kinds of advice on job search and training. It also allows you to apply for welfare benefits and unemployment benefits (WW).
Werkplein Zoetermeer is the address to go to if you have applied for welfare benefits. But even if you do not have benefits, you can come here for advice and information. The UWV and the municipality of Zoetermeer work together at the Werkplein. In addition, all organizations offering services in the areas of work, training and reintegration are gathered here.
If you are on benefits, you will receive additional support in your job search from your work director at De Binnenbaan.

Register on work.com
You no longer need to register separately as a job seeker. You can apply directly for benefits. After this application, you will automatically be registered with the UWV as a job seeker. As long as you receive benefits, you will remain registered as a job seeker.

New temporary job center locationFrom January 9, 2024, the Werkplein will have a new temporary location at Zuidwaarts 2, formerly known as the site of museum De Voorde. The move is necessary because of the expansion of the number of workstations and consulting rooms of the UWV in City Hall. |
