Residential caravan, pitch

Pursuant to the Housing Ordinance, you can register as interested in a plot intended for the placement of a trailer within Zoetermeer. This registration is possible for everyone. You do not have to be socially or economically bound to Zoetermeer.

  • Plots are issued for rent and are prepared for connection to gas, water and electricity.
  • Connection to gas, water and electricity must be arranged by the tenant.
  • The tenant must place their own trailer. This requires an Environmental Permit.
  • The municipality maintains a policy of conservation for trailer sites. There will be no expansion or reduction in the number of sites there are now. Interested parties depend on the release of a pitch.
  • Booths will be assigned in order of registration.

How does it work?

Interested in a pitch in Zoetermeer?

Then you can register in the municipal register. For registration, you must meet a number of conditions:

  • You are of age.
  • You have Dutch nationality or a valid residence permit in the Netherlands.
  • You have completed the form completely and truthfully (including the requested attachments).

Interested in pitching in multiple communities?

Do you want to be registered in more than one municipality? Then you must register with each municipality separately.

  • Registration is open to all.
  • There are no requirements of social or economic bondage.

How long will it take?

You will not receive a receipt when you submit the form and attachments.

Does the municipality approve your application? Then you will receive a certificate of registration stating:

  • The enrollment date.
  • The name registrant and the number of persons moving with them.

Cost

You live in Zoetermeer?

  • An extract from the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP) is not required.
  • Registration is free.

You live in another municipality?

  • You pay the cost of an extract from the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP) in your municipality.
  • Registration is free.
