Summer Break for Construction Work at Plein Palenstein
The new plaza at Rakkersveld will be completely finished by mid-October. Until then, construction will look like this.
Work will be temporarily suspended during the construction industry vacation period (weeks 32 through 34); work on Phase 1 will resume in week 35 and is expected to be completed by mid-week 42. Phase 2 is expected to begin in week 37.
During the construction work, homes, businesses, the train station, and the shopping center will remain as accessible as possible, although there may be some temporary inconvenience.
