Dorpsstraat is being repaved
The municipality of Zoetermeer is repaving the Dorpsstraat . Materials will be reused as much as possible. The curb gutter will be replaced. These improvements will ensure that the street once again meets the requirements for use, safety, and maintenance.
Work has begun
Work began during the week of September 28 and is being carried out in phases. This ensures that homes and businesses remain as accessible as possible during the project. The contractor, HABO GWW, is carrying out the work on behalf of the municipality of Zoetermeer.
Planning
In the first phase, work will be carried out on the small square near Dorpsstraat 115-119. Once this phase is completed, the next phase will begin immediately. The work is expected to last until mid-November 2026. The schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
Accessibility During Construction
Homes, stores, and businesses will remain accessible to pedestrians during the construction work. Walkways will be installed where necessary. If work is being done directly in front of a home or store, the situation may change temporarily.
For loading and unloading, a temporary solution will be sought, where possible, in consultation with business owners.
