Introducing: Neighborhood Councilor Margot Kraneveldt
Dear residents of De Leyens,

My name is Margot Kraneveldt, and I am your neighborhood councilor for the beautiful De Leyens neighborhood.
As a native of Hilversum, I moved with my family from The Hague to Zoetermeer after the birth of our son. I’ve been living here happily for 24 years now. After 12 years as a council member, I am honored to serve as an alderwoman and as the alderwoman for your neighborhood. I love people. I enjoy talking with everyone about what makes Zoetermeer such a great place and what could or should be improved. It’s also important to listen to what’s on people’s minds—what’s going well and what needs more attention. Only together can we ensure that the neighborhood remains a wonderful place to live, work, and meet one another.
In the coming weeks, I look forward to talking with residents, business owners, and organizations. For example, in November, I’ll be attending the Walking Dinner in the neighborhood. It’s a great opportunity to meet residents and hear what’s on their minds. You’ll see me around the neighborhood regularly, so please feel free to say hello. I’d love to hear your ideas and experiences.
Best regards,
Margot Kraneveldt
District Councilor De Leyens
