Successful information fair "Together We Build the Neighborhood" in Seghwaert
On April 8, a successful information fair was held at the Seghwaert shopping center. Under the motto “Together we build the neighborhood,” several neighborhood organizations (including volunteers) and representatives from the municipality engaged in conversation with residents about the neighborhood’s livability, safety, and sense of community. Residents from “Feest in Seghwaert” were also present, offering face painting and glitter tattoos for children.
The purpose of the information fair was to inform residents about what’s happening in the Seghwaert neighborhood and to give them an opportunity to discuss any concerns or ideas they might have about the neighborhood. The following organizations were present: inZet, Hof van Seghwaert, Seghwaert op Dreef, Humanitas, Meerpunt, Stichting Piëzo, and Gro-up Buurtwerk en Jongerenwerk. Residents also had the opportunity to speak with the neighborhood alderman, the neighborhood coordinator, the community police officers, and the project staff from Schoon is Gewoon and the Energieloket.
The next information fair in Seghwaert is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Leidsewallen shopping center on Meeuwenveld.
