Young people are giving JOP Floriadepark a makeover
The Youth Meeting Place (JOP) in Floriade Park has been given a new look. Students from the Picasso Lyceum and Alfrink College worked together to design and paint their own meeting place. Piëzo also arranged for young people from the AZC (asylum seekers’ center) to help with the painting. This not only gave the space a fresh new look but also fostered a greater sense of connection to the place and to one another. The project was supervised by muralist Manuel Alániz Gámez.

The Rokkeveen Water Tower: Preserving the Past, Building the Future
The water tower in Rokkeveen is being repurposed as a bed & breakfast with meeting rooms. While the historic building is being renovated, local resident and photographer Richard Jetten is documenting the transformation through his lens. His photos show how the building is changing step by step, while respecting its original character. At the same time, Paul van Dorp and his team are working on the technical implementation of the project, which is giving the historic building a new future. In this way, history is preserved, and the site regains its significance for the neighborhood.
