New Year's Eve 2024-2025

New Year's Eve is once again approaching. Together with partners such as the police, fire department, Gro-up youth work and neighborhood prevention, the municipality is taking measures to ensure that the turn of the year is safe and enjoyable and that nuisance and damage are prevented as much as possible. Youth festival Hitmachine NYE Festival 2025

For young people between the ages of 16 and 23, there will be a party at SilverDome during New Year's Eve.

Laser Shows

This year again 2 laser shows on the Market during New Year's Eve. From 19:00 for children and from 23:30 a collective countdown. The shows are spectacular and will continue even with strong wind or rain!

Fireworks

There is a nationwide ban on category F3 fireworks, fireworks that pop, popping strands, flares and single-shot tubes (single shots).

Fireworks-free zones

The municipality is again designating fireworks-free zones.

Helping Hens

Guidelines for safe fire lighting in an oil drum or fire basket. Avoid damage to asphalt, sidewalk and lawn.

Keep it whole!

With the campaign "Think: keep it whole," we want to make people aware of how much New Year's Eve costs in damages.
