Safety training for professionals

Would you like to increase your knowledge and practical skills in the field of safety?

In 2026, the municipality of Zoetermeer will offer a varied range of workshops and training courses. These will be provided by accredited trainers, scientists, and subject matter experts. With this training program, you will be investing with us in a safe city, in which professionals are better equipped to recognize signs of crime, subversion, or (extreme) violence in a timely manner and to respond appropriately.

This program is made possible with support from Preventie met Gezag (Prevention with Authority) and the Reinforcement Funds of the Ministry of Justice and Security.

Who is this training program intended for?

The training courses are intended for local professionals from the security, healthcare, and welfare sectors who work on topics such as:

  • Juvenile delinquency
  • Subversive crime
  • Extremism & Social discontent

Think of neighborhood professionals, youth workers, special investigating officers, care partners, policy officers, school professionals, and other chain partners within the security and social domain.

Purpose of the program

With this program, we support you in:

  • expanding your knowledge and skills
  • timely recognition of signs of (drifting into) crime, subversion, or (extreme) violence
  • Act appropriately when you encounter these signs.
  • strengthening local and regional cooperation with your partners

Participation is free of charge, but not without obligation. We count on your attendance once you have registered.
