Media Literacy Week: Turn Off Your Phone, Turn On the Fun
Media Literacy Week runs from November 6 through November 13. During this week, there will be activities throughout Zoetermeer focusing on screen use, social media, and online safety.
On November 13, inZet and the Piëzo Foundation are organizing the "Phone Off, Fun On!" event in Meerzicht. Children and parents will discover together how much fun it can be to step away from the screen for a while.
There are all kinds of things to do: laugh together, get creative, play a game, cook, or discover something new. This way, both children and parents realize that there are plenty of fun activities to do together—even without a phone.
There will also be a discussion for parents about screen use within the family. How can you strike a good balance between screen time and other activities? During the meeting, participants will share experiences and tips that can be helpful at home.
