The A12 corridor is the new place for the logistics sector
The area around the A12, "the A12 corridor," is a place with economic qualities that we want to make much better use of. That is why the Zoetermeer municipality is working together with the municipalities of Lansingerland, Waddinxveen and Zuidplas, the province of South Holland and VNO-NCW West and various other partners and organizations to strengthen the A12 corridor into a good place for transport companies.
We are jointly committed to good marketing, coordination of developments, optimal accessibility, appropriate training and connection to the labor market and making the business parks more sustainable. This will ensure that this area offers new and existing transport companies a good and attractive business climate, both now and in the future.
What we want to achieve:
- That we can serve 8 million customers in the region within one hour
- That we work more collaboratively as municipalities and involved partners
- That the Randstad is more attractive to other countries as an entry point to Europe
We want to invest in a sustainable and innovative business climate for transport companies, including a better connection of business sites to road, water and rail. This is important for the economy of South Holland.
