Our house rules

As a municipality, we like to be of service to our residents. That may be via the Internet, the telephone or a visit to our counter. In order to make your stay at City Hall as pleasant as possible for our customers as well as our employees, house rules have been established.

At City Hall-Forum / Workplace:

  • Please be considerate of others.
  • Do not make noise or use swear words.
  • You may drink anywhere, but not eat (brought) refreshments. You can buy and eat something in the Forum Café.
  • Please keep everything neat, clean and whole.
  • Only your service dog may enter. Other animals wait outside.
  • Do not use alcohol, drugs or tobacco.
  • Do not visit discriminatory, violent or pornographic websites.
  • Is there camera surveillance for everyone's safety.
  • Please watch your belongings carefully. The Town Hall Forum is not liable for loss or theft.
  • Do we always report theft or vandalism to the police.

Ban on face-covering clothing

Starting August 1, 2019, you may not wear clothing that makes your face unrecognizable in public transportation and government buildings. In Zoetermeer, this concerns all municipal locations.

Below are examples of face-covering clothing.
