Subsidy - Social Domain

The City of Zoetermeer is happy to support activities in the city. We do this through grants.

Would your organization, association, or foundation like to organize activities for Zoetermeerders in 2027? And do these activities contribute to: 

  1. Educational opportunities and pathways to sustainable employment
  2. Livelihood security
  3. Growing up with opportunities, safety, and good health
  4. Social support and health promotion

If you believe your project is eligible for a grant, please submit an application for the 2027 grant between June 1 and September 15, 2026.

Who is eligible to apply?

A grant is only available to an organization (legal entity) that:

  1. carries out activities in Zoetermeer, for residents of Zoetermeer;
  2. does not make a profit from the activities for which the subsidy is being requested;
  3. is familiar with the city and collaborates with local partners or has a network in Zoetermeer.

How do I apply for a grant?

You must submit your application using the online application form. 

A maximum of one grant will be awarded per organization. You must apply for funding in a single application for all activities for which your organization is seeking funding.

For each activity you wish to apply for, please fill out a questionnaire. For each activity, select the questionnaire that best matches the theme:

Save the questionnaire(s) as a PDF and attach them to your application.

Guide to Measuring, Learning, and Improving

We ask that you create a measurement plan before carrying out an activity. And after the activity is complete, create an improvement plan.

Information Sessions

Information sessions were held on the 9th and 15th to explain the subsidy program. This is the presentation that was used at those sessions.

When will you receive a response?

From June through September 15, 2026, you can apply for grants for activities you plan to organize in 2027. The municipal executive will decide by November 30, 2026, which grants will be awarded. In December 2026, you will receive a letter informing you whether or not you will receive the grant you applied for.
