Do you share your home with others? This may affect the amount of your benefit.

Sometimes you can apply for assistance as a self-employed person. For example, if you want to start a business or if your business has financial problems.

If you receive social assistance, the municipality will regularly conduct a re-examination.

Are you receiving benefits and going on holiday? You must report this to the municipality before you go on holiday.

Do you have income in addition to your social assistance benefit? You must declare this via an income declaration.

You can receive an advance within 4 weeks of the date you apply for a benefit if you do not have enough money to wait for the first benefit payment.

The study allowance is a minimum amount that municipalities must pay to students with a medical disability. The study allowance is an income and can be spent freely.

Has your benefit stopped? Or have you started working as a self-employed person? Then you may be entitled to an exit bonus or a flow-through bonus.
