Applying for benefits

You can apply for assistance if your income is too low to pay for necessary living expenses.

Special assistance

Do you have a low income and have to incur unexpected necessary expenses? Sometimes you can get (part of) the costs back.

Youth assistance

If you are unemployed and between the ages of 18 and 27, you can apply for welfare benefits through work.com.

Sometimes you can apply for assistance as a self-employed person. For example, if you want to start a business or if your business has financial problems.

Has your benefit stopped? Or have you started working as a self-employed person? If so, you may be entitled to an outflow premium or transfer premium.

When will my benefit be transferred?

Your benefit is transferred each month on the last business day of that month. It may sometimes take a few days for the amount to appear in your account.
