New construction Palenstein

The municipality of Zoetermeer and the housing corporations De Goede Woning, Stedelink (formerly Vestia) and Vidomes have made agreements to tackle the renewal of Palenstein together. The supply of housing, outdoor space and facilities will be improved.

Housing corporation De Goede Woning wants to build a new apartment building in the Van Aalstpark. Before the municipality decides whether the building can go there, it wants to know from local residents what they think of the plan.

The municipality will develop housing on the site at 24 Van Aalstlaan on the edge of the Palenstein neighborhood. The site is located between the Australiëweg and the Van Aalstlaan, which includes the former Monuta building.
